Infrastructura

We are a private airport in the western part of Romania focused on:

1. Innovation in the aerospace industry: we have created an innovation cluster, InnoAirTech for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV); for this purpose, we also have registered a segregated airspace with the Romanian Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA) specifically for UAV testing purposes; we have the VLOS (airport grounds) and BVLOS (60km long, 1000ft tall and 50m wide) testing corridors.

2. Education: we started the first and only aerospace technicians highschool, where we currently have 65 students and 8 alumni (first class finished in summer 2022)

3. Cargo segment: we are planning an expansion of cargo capabilities; these include a longer runway and new warehousing

4. General aviation: for private individuals looking to park their aircraft and fly in-and-out of our airport.

We have expertise in the technology field and that is why we were eager to start the InnoAirTech innovation cluster for the development of unmanned aerial vehicle technologies. This, coupled with the educational projects aims to create, at our airport, a development hub in the western part of Romania for all things aerospace.

Our airport could be suitable for you for testing of aerospace technologies. Our runway is 2.000m X 45m and is perfect for both, fixed- and rotary- wing aircraft.
